Kräft Yacht Crew are seeking a talented and experienced Bosun for a busy-charter US based M/Y.
The Program:
- South Florida base (year-round), back and forth to the Bahamas/Caribbean
- The program is mainly charter focused (approx. 12 charters per year)
- International crew
- Family orientated American owners
- The crew are very busy but work really well as a team and help each other!
- The vessel is currently located in the Bahamas
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bridge /Navigational /Watch keeping experience
- Padi Divemaster - the boat has a dive station onboard and plans to conduct multiple diving excursions in Galapagos, Costa Rica and Panama
- A solid background on fishing and a keen interest - The Bosun will be leading fishing excursions
- Extensive experience operating large tenders
- Experience with lifting and tow operations
- Watersports skills
- A great work ethic and a team player!
Credentials Required:
- Yachtmaster Offshore
- Full STCW certification
- PDSD certification
- ENG1 certification
- B1 Visa (if applicable)
Package Details:
- Salary is negotiable (competitive and DOE)
- 38 days leave
- 13th month bonus
- Crew average $4.5k p/w in gratuity, the vessel conducts approximately 10-12 weeks of charter a year
