We are looking for a full-time Captain for a 75ft private M/Y based in Costa Rica
A wonderful family orientated Owner from Texas
The vessel is based in Papagayo Marina all year round
Start Date is around January/February
The Owner and his family spend time in their Costa Rican home for 14-15 weeks out of the year
During which time, the family love to do lots of Sunset cruises, stopping to swim and use the water toys they store onboard (they are not fishers)
For the remainder of the year, The Captain will oversee and manage all organized maintenance tasks, with the full-time Mate assisting as required
A normal work week would be Monday to Friday, except for when the owners are in town as they would like to use the boat daily (additional days will be given off for this)
Requirements:
- A 200GT or higher license
- STCW Basic Training (fully updated)
- PDSD Certificate
- ENG1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a charter Captain
- Contactable recent references
Package Details:
Salary on offer is approximately $75,000 per annum +/- dependent on experience
Paid annual leave is negotiable and can be discussed upon interview
