Start Date – August 5th in Croatia (exact location TBD) 

Kräft Yacht Crew are currently recruiting for a 46m dual season motor yacht who is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and professional Chase Boat Captain to join the crew and take full responsibility for a 56ft Riva/56ft HCB Centre Console.  

The ideal candidate will hold a valid 100 Ton or Yachtmaster Ocean and possess strong operational, maintenance, and guest service skills. In addition to managing and operating the chase boat, the candidate will be expected to participate in deck operations onboard the mothership when required.  

The vessel is currently located in Croatia (with Charters booked for August and September) before crossing to Florida/Bahamas for the winter season. 

Ideal Candidate Requirements: 

• Experienced in trouble shooting and weekly maintenance  

• Chase/small boat (full management) experience 

• Conduct guest transfers, day trips, beach excursions, and support operations. 

• Coordinate movements and activities with the Mothership 

• Ensure compliance with local maritime regulations and safety procedures. 

• Maintain all certifications, logs, and operational records. 

• Maintain the Chase boat to exceptional superyacht standards. 

• Establish and manage preventative maintenance schedules. 

• Coordinate warranty work, servicing, repairs, and vendor relationships. 

• Monitor vessel systems, electronics, safety equipment, and inventory. 

• Ensure the vessel is always clean, fueled, provisioned, and guest-ready. 

Credentials needed: 

• Must be USA Passport holder or U.S Green Card 

• 100 Ton Master Captain’s License or Yachtmaster Ocean.  

• Full STCW certification 

• ENG1 certification 

Compensation: 

• Salary: $5,000USD/$5,500usd (+/-DOE) 

• 42 days leave per year 

(Couples opportunity – can be partnered with a Deck/Stew position)
