Kräft Yacht Crew are currently recruiting for an experienced, self-motivated and professional Chase Boat Captain to join a busy program and take responsibility for a 56ft Riva and a 56ft HCB Centre Console (different chase boat for different seasons).
This position is open to COUPLES as the boat will be hiring a full-time Deck/Stew to accompany the Chase Boat Captain.
The Program:
Summers in the Mediterranean
Winters in the Caribbean
International crew of 11
Family orientated American owners
This is a busy program! The Boss comes onboard regularly with a full boat of guests and children
The Chase Boat Captain will be required to help the crew onboard the mothership when not busy the chase boat
The crew are very busy but work really well as a team and help each other!
The vessel is currently located in Croatia with confirmed charters coming up
Main responsibilities include ensuring the chase boat is always clean, fueled, provisioned, and guest ready
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a valid 100Ton or Yachtmaster Ocean license
- One solid year of Chase Boat Captain (full boat management) experience
- Experienced in trouble shooting and weekly servicing/maintenance
- Extensive experience conducting day trips, guest transfers, beach excursions, and support operations.
- Comfortable with long passages
- Good communication / experience coordinating movements and activities with the Mothership
- Compliance knowledge with local maritime regulations and safety procedures.
- Organized in managing vessel documents, logs and operational records.
- Strong in full boat servicing, care and maintenance (including engineering work)
Credentials Required:
- US Passport or Green card holder
- 100 Ton Master Captain’s License or Yachtmaster Ocean.
- Full STCW advanced certification
- ENG1 certification
Package Details:
- Salary: $5,000-$6,000 DOE
- 42 days leave per year
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- One flight per year
- Fair share of charter/owner gratuity
