We are looking for a Sole Chef for a beautiful 46M private and possible charter M/Y
The plan is to charter in the Mediterranean this Summer, pending commercial lisence
Currently busy with owners in the Bahamas, yard period scheduled for April in FTL
Jamaican flagged vessel
Dual season (Caribbean/Mediterranean)
International crew of 11, Mexican owner with a large family
This is a busy program! The Boss comes onboard with a full boat of guests and children
The highest number of guests onboard recently was 17, including 6 children
We are looking for someone well experienced and happy with a busy, non-stop schedule
Diversity is key! The ability to switch between simple bar food/snacks and fine dining plated service
The crew are awesome and although extremely busy, they work well and help each other
The boat values loyalty and hard work
This new owner has given all crew rotation, HOD's are time for time and Juniors 3:1
So, rotation could be implemented for the Chef after a successful probation period (no guarantee)
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Full STCW certification
PDSD certification
ENG1 certification
Valid B1 and Schengen Visa (if applicable)
Experience as a Sole Chef onboard similar sized vessels
Compensation:
Salary is dependent on experience - The crew are paid well
Annual leave days - per flag state (to begin with)
